Ben Sullivan, CFA®
Ben joined AEWM in early 2017 after working as an auditor for a Topeka, Kansas, firm. He served advisors at the trade desk and as a Director of Wealth before becoming a Vice President of Wealth Management in 2022. Ben has passed the Series 7, 66, 24 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.
Ben earned his accounting degree from York College, where he played soccer. He keeps his soccer skills sharp by coaching competitive club soccer in his free time.
Andy Nyland
Andy joined the AE Wealth Management team in September 2020. He gained experience in creative planning as a wealth manager with Edward Jones, where he owned his own financial advisory office. Andy has worked extensively through the financial planning process with clients, helping them understand how to set realistic market expectations. Throughout
his career in the industry, he has also accumulated assets, hosted
seminars and collaborated with other advisors to serve clients. Before entering the financial industry, Andy worked in training and development for John Deere.
Andy lives in Basehor, Kansas, with his wife, Tiffany, and their three daughters: Juliana, Isabella and Emilia. In his spare time, he enjoys participating in Highland Games, riding his motorcycle, reading, watching football and taking on the crazy activities his kids rope him into.
Michael Ketchum
Michael developed his passion for helping others during the 15 years he spent coaching football for high school teams all the way to the NFL. When he joined the financial services industry, it was with the hope of helping advisors better serve their clients.
Before joining AE Wealth Management, Michael worked for American Century and Empower Retirement. He helped advisors and clients develop and implement investment strategies and retirement plans designed to help clients achieve confidence in their financial futures. He later joined Ivy Investments, working exclusively with advisors to help build their businesses while remaining up-to-date on the latest products and market developments.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking, reading and watching his two sons play soccer.
Danielle DiMarzio
Danielle brings an array of knowledge and experience to her role as relationship manager, where she works alongside Kayla Oniki to help satisfy all Team Dodder requests.
Before joining AE Wealth Management in 2018, Danielle spent 15 years in the property and casualty world. She started as a processor at AE before advancing to operations lead and her current position.
Danielle and her husband live in Topeka with their four kids — Mena, Shylah, Derek and Sabella — as well as two dogs, one cat and a fish.
When she isn’t watching her kids play sports or perform other activities, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending live shows and concerts, watching Disney movies and cooking.
Jonathan Brooks
Jonathan enjoys doing all he can to help Team Dodder advisors manage and grow their firms.
Before joining Advisors Excel three years ago, Jonathan worked at a bank while also serving in the Air National Guard. His Guard service continues, and his time at AE has included one deployment. At AE, he worked in Annuity and AE Wealth Management operations before joining Team Dodder.
Jonathan lives in Topeka with his wife and two dogs. Away from the office, you can find him spending time with family and friends, rock climbing and doing other outdoor activities, or in Wichita for the Air Force.
